For your Friday lunch fix, we head out to West Marin, where Perry’s Deli has long been a staple within the confines of Inverness Park Grocery. But, as Carey Sweet points out, since chef Ed Vigil came aboard last summer, things have been taken up a notch. The visual proof is above.
But the capper, the pièce de résistance, is the Reuben sandwich ($11), made with Point Reyes Farmstead Toma cheese and sauerkraut in between slices of Brick Maiden caraway batard. Not only is it pictured above, but there’s also a gorgeous video dedicated to its local origins:
